TATTOOS: i need information on Superior Tattoo Equipment (the company)?
I have been looking through Superior Tattoo Equipment’s catalog and i like what i see thusfar, but i read a review online saying that their products are not nearly the best, or even all that great. I need to upgrade to better machines and a better power supply, but im not sure which way to go. i want to try a lighter machine, but that’s all i know.
does anyone have any feedback on Superior Tattoo Equipment?

Well, I haven’t heard anything derogatory. I buy from Cam, they’ve got the best day to day assortment at the best prices of anyone. But for a machine, the Martini Headbutt can’t be beat. It’s a handmade tattoo iron from Italy, and it’s glass smooth, weighing in at 6.5 ounces. Martini Irons only makes a few hundred a year, they have eight wrap coils, and run between six to twelve volts. Can be used as a liner or shader. You’ll LOVE it.
When I first started out I bought from Superior. I didn’t know any better and out tons of equipment. When I started working in a shop, I realized that the equipment wasn’t good at all and purchased all new equipment. It made so much of a difference. Most of the better brands will only sell to licensed shops, so your options are limited. Pulse equipment is high quality, you might want to check them out. I believe that Cam only sells to licensed shops. Also check out Technicall Tattoo Supply, the line of Mellenium machines are decent machines for a reasonable price. My advice would be to stay away from Superior.
