Why is it that If you have a cross tattoo it’s acceptable but an inverted cross very much frowned upon? ?

This makes no sense to me whatsoever. If you’re Christian and you have a tattoo of a cross no one says anything yet if you have an inverted cross you’d get a load of sh*t from religious people? Is it just the way our society is? It is so unfair and it just makes me sick.
