i want to get one of those full face and body tribal tattoos, like the ones they do in huts with tapping?
ya know like the ones that you got to earn the right to wear. how do i go about getting some of these? do i just show up at the village and be like “hey hows it going can i live with you guys for awhile?” or what would i have to do? where would i have to go.
i dont want to be a tourist i want to live there and make weapons out of sticks and rocks and hunt for my food and fight other tribes and that kinda stuff.

ur a freak…just get some facepaint or sumthin…idk, weirdooo
They do it in specific shops too, not just villages. Its a dying art though. You must be willing to travel!
Go to Thailand. Head to the temples. The monks do it. Not all monks of course, but they will direct you.
They also do it in Japan.
Good luck!
There are people who do these “tappings” at most tattoo conventions, but be prepared to pay a pretty penny… they take a LONG time. If you want to go to the Samoas or elsewhere, there are a few places that tattoo tourists. Perhaps ask the QOD staff on BMEzine.com
Nice! Ask Mike Tyson. He’s either at Wonderland Rehab facility or Crunch.
Isn’t there religious significance associated with those style of tattoos? Like, only monks & such are supposed to have some of them? I suppose if you did something for the order it’d be like being a church associate or something.
Likely there are “commoner” tattoos you can get; I remember seeing a page where a fellow got an interesting tattoo from a fellow I think in Samoa.
I’d want to be careful & respectful, though. I mean, I like wine, but I wouldn’t go wine tasting at the local churches.
Just my 2 cents.
just tell them to go around the “your mom’s name” tattoo on your a ss! hehehehe…
if you actually are serious about getting tattooed the traditional way i found an artist in dallas that strictly does it.
