How long to tattoos on your inner lip last?
My friend and I wanted to get tattoos on our inner lips, and I heard that it fades really quickly, but then I heard from someone else that it lasts a really long time. Is there anyone that has one that knows how long it actually lasts without touch-ups?

A friend of mine got one and it lasted only about a week and a half. Now it has completely disappeared, however the tattoo artist warned of that and said she would have to go back numerous times to get it redone, and after a few sessions it would stay.

Depends. Some people have it forever with little fading, and in others it disappears in a few weeks.
You can increase you chances of keeping it by going to an experienced artist. Half the time, the reason it fades is because the artist went too deep or tattooed the wrong spot.
It really depends on if you go to an artist that has experience tattooing the inner lip. A lot of people won’t go deep enough and it’ll fade super fast. It also depends on whether or not you chew on your inner lip (I do, so it would last like a month for me, lol).
Just go to an experienced artist go for it.
they last about 3 months… you are advised to get touch-ups if you’d like to keep it. Personally, mine started fading around week 7. But my roommate had hers for about 3-4 months.
i dont know, but my question is did it hurt alot
because of the cells on the inner lip, the tat fades quicker. if i spent the money, and pain to go throught a tat, i’d make sure it lasted the rest of my life. i’d choose another area. my tat on my ankle is still here, 7 years later. and still looks the same.
