In fact, two women I know copied me and got butterflies in the same place. I wear flip-flops at home and heels at work, so it's visible. I have a swallow (bird) on the back of my shoulder that I get compliments on, too, and I just got it two days ago. I'm glad I had a really good artist. Most of the time it's people just asking to see them, and then it's fun to watch their jaws drop as soon as I show them since they are expecting little tiny ones most the time. I haven't ever had anyone say anything negative to my face. The strangest occurrence I have had was one night a drunken regular decided to ask me what I had because a little tiny bit was sticking out under my shirt. He then didn't give me the opportunity to respond, and lifted my shirt up for me. That was crossing the line a bit. I work as a bartender on the weekends and I have a lot of reactions to them. Nobody has ever touched my tattoos. A lot of people just stare at them. When I hang out around heavily tattooed people they don’t even stare at my tats, they are just used to them I guess.
