Can you help me decide please, Tribal Tattoos? or a Celtic Knot Tattoos?
Actually i have so many designs in my mind right now, but i have a hard time on picking up the right one for my first time tattoo, i want it big and really defines me, I want the tribal tattoos and when i saw celtic knot, i wanted it too. I cannot decide yet now, kindly help me on this, leave a comment. Thanks. and how much does it cost? and does tattooing really painful?

i personally don’t like tribal, i don’t think it’s very personal…. celtic knot could be if you’re irish or something, yeah…. the cost depends on how big and detailed it is, i think the ‘usual’ is like $100/hr… it is painful, it will just depend on your pain tolerance. i guess my pain tolerance is high, because it’s not so bad to me but, after an hour or so of getting the tattoo it’ll become sore and kind of hurt. sometimes it feels more annoying than painful…. but i think it’s worth it
good luck
Neither, there are so many more options than simple tribal or celtic. A reputable tattoo artist will probably try and guide you away from both of those choices and toward something more personal. Whenever I see a tribal tattoo I want to say “What tribe are you from?”, but I bite my tongue. My suggestion is to really think about yourself and what are the things that define you. Find some images online and bring them to a tattoo artist that is comfortable doing custom pieces and willing to work with you. This may cost more than a simple tribal but the end result will be much more impressive. As far as the pain, there are many different factors such as location, skin type, pain tolerance, and even type of tattoo. Your tattoo artist will be able to explain this better. The cost is generally reflective of the quality so avoid finding the cheapest tattoo. “A good tattoo is not cheap, a cheap tattoo is not good.”
Celtic knots may define you if you’re irish, but most of those styles are simply decorative. If you want a design that defines you, pick what you’re into and have an artist draw it up. Most artists can do something really nice.
Price will run you according to the time it takes, like a hundred dollars an hour, and if it’s big and detailed, that will run into a lot of money.
Yes, it’s painful, but most people tolerate it okay.
