@cuteasalways1 Basically until it feels entirely comfortable and completely healed. Everyone’s different so it’s hard to give a real time limit. Trust me, you’ll feel when it’s healed, because it won’t hurt to change jewelrry or touch it. but continue cleaning as long as possible.
I understand how to clean it but for how long do you do all that? A month, 3 months? Help please!
alright i am confused…got my nose piercing, the place is quite renowned, alot of toronto based rockers go there..anyways, the piercer gave me this paper of how to clean it and the paper emphasizes DISTILLED water, not just any regular warm water, and 1 cup of it, which is quite a large amount..Also, for the soap don’t use a Q Tip to clean it, but this video completely contradicts what my piercer said, so i am befuzzled

I got my nose pierced 3 days before my 13th birthday… they shotted it not pierced it XD
My piercer didnt tell me to use an antibactiarial soap.
All I was told to do, was twice a day, put a pinch of salt in boiled water, wait 10 minutes, then press lightly on my piercing with a cotton ball thing thats been soaked in the water, and rewet it once it cools down. for another 10 minutes. Its worked fine for now.

Where can I get sea salt? Can I get it at like walgreens or something?
i’m not sure if my nose piercing is infected or not, i have the little bump thing and it bleeds a little when i move my ring to clean the area. so while i wait for a doctor’s appt what can i do to keep it from getting worse?
is it ok if the sea salt has iodine in it???
