Are Tribal tattoos still cool?
I know tribal tattoos were really big like half a decade ago, and people still get them now. I was looking to add to the tribal tattoo I already have because having another type of tattoo near it I think would just look odd. What do you think?

Um, for one if your going to get a tattoo don’t sit there and ask us “If it still looks cool”, that’s ridiculous. You should get it because you like it and not wonder if its “still cool and hip”.
People still get them like they get all the other tattoo’s.
Ive seen people pull of tribal tattoo’s and other designs that are completely different side by side and it looked fine.

You are absolutely right. Tribals are fading away, true, but if they’re particularly awesome ones, they are still amazing. There’s a young woman in Texas who is a master at show stopping tribals. If you get a chance, look her up. Her name’s Sonia Anderson, and she does totally awesome work. Also she’s a beautiful, fun woman. (She makes out like a bandit, sometimes. It’s funny, how some men will pay lots more for a really pretty girl to do their skin art.) She works in San Antonio, at Adrenaline Tattoos and Body Piercing. I guess I stand alone, tribal tattoos were never cool. They are boring and lack creativity. I have a great respect for the tribal communities around the world that use them for a purpose, but not for people just wanting a tattoo. What tribe are you in? What does your tribal tattoo signify? Does it signify your rank in the community, the fact that you’re married or single, that you’ve killed for your tribe? If not, it’s just another tribal.

Personally, I hate tribal tattoos unless the person is actually some kind of native.
I still think they look like stencils though, which is why I don’t like them.
But if you want it, go for it. Our opinions don’t matter, only yours does when it comes to your body.
